One will go to Zambia [ link ] and the other to Namibia [ link ], both locations are home to utterly beautiful scenery, interesting history, and amazing African culture. Our very slow progress allowed LaDawn time to retrieve one of our favorite vacation cameras, the Canon SX, and began firing away.
We started with a 5-day visit to Vancouver, Canada, then crossed the Pacific on a cruise ship hanging out in Hawaii, the lava was really flowing as we circumvented the Big Island dqvid midnight and even with a rocking thhe and misty rains I was able to capture some amazing images.

Those of you who have read tbe blog regularly know I’m not a big fan of tripods in most cases but in this case it was absolutely a necessity. Thanks for telling us about the problem.
All in all I found bu lens to be a fun lens to shoot. That’s right, today I’m writing about the Great American Eclipse! Ron rated it it was amazing Jul 30, Before I leave let me give you a few details about how I handled the shooting session.
Great for portraiture suggestions, not just wedding photography. I dug out my old Gitzo tripod of years past, prepped it for the shoot, and re-familiarize myself with using a tripod. I wanted to discover three main things about the lens: I’ll keep you posted when I have more details.

Luck of all luck — the clouds finally dissipated just a few seconds later just as the moon totally covered the sun and caaptured eclipse totality. Between Ziser’s book and Scott Kelby’s The Digital Photography Book, volumes 1 and 2I got a good enough technical background and tips to feel comfortable with shooting my friends’ wedding.
